Industrial Buildings for Lease in Bellingham Washington
There are a variety of industrial property types and locations available for lease in Bellingham Washington. For larger businesses, entire buildings can be leased or even enter a larger complex as an anchor tenant. For smaller businesses, there are commercial condos that can be leased.
The Irongate Industrial Park located off Bakerview Drive is the largest area zoned light and heavy industrial in Bellingham. There is a typically a fair amount of inventory available for lease in Irongate, but sales of larger buildings are limited due to longer holding by owners. Currently, there is a high volume of commercial condos available for both sale and lease. This provides an excellent opportunity for small and new businesses find an affordable place to hang their shingle. Many of these commercial condos have a small storefront, office, and ADA bathrooms that may include showers. Typical sizes range between 1,200 and 2,000 square feet with the majority being about 1,500 square feet.
The Port of Bellingham also owns several marine and industrial buildings that are leased out to private companies. With the recent Port of Bellingham’s purchase of the Bellingham waterfront, centrally located industrial opportunities will grow over the coming years.
